WHEN:
Saturday 8th, 15th and 22nd August from 9am – 2pm

WHERE:
Richhill Castle.

WHO CAN APPLY:

Anyone who is interested in developing skills and is committed to improving the village built heritage.

Richhill Buildings Preservation Trust are offering six free places on a masonry conservation course for local residents to learn skills associated with restoration of natural stone walls.

WORKSHOP

TUTOR:
The workshop will be facilitated by an accredited conservation mason who will demonstrate and supervise candidates.

WORKSHOP CONTENT:
Cleaning and preparation of the walls, lime mortar mix design, demonstration and practise of mortar pointing
Tools and materials will be provided.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST:
Email Paul on paul@rbpt.co.uk giving your name, telephone number, the reasons you want to join the workshop and your interest in improving the built environment in Richhill.

It is hoped that this will be a starting point for continuing voluntary restoration work in the village.

Appropriate Social Distancing protocols will be observed.
